Having used both niacinamide products and Nia24 SSC, I can fully testify that the SSC works. There simply is no comparison. FYI the companys products are also sold through the lines Canyon Ranch, Patricia Wexler, and the Fekkai "More" hair care.

While I found this information interesting I must say that Nia 24 has marketed their products in a much more transparent way than most cosmetic companies do. I current use the Skin Strengthening Complex and find it to be the absolute best product I've ever used on my skin. It has totally transformed my aging, acne prone face!

That being said, I did consider making my own niacinamide/nicotinic acid concoction but sometimes one should not mess with something that totally delivers for them. Ingredients, regardless of what they are in a product, can surprisingly work very well together for an individual. This is true for me in this complex. I'm not going to mess with what has turned out to be perfection in Nia 24 Skin Strengthening Complex for my skin.

Thanks for sharing this information.

I used the Nia Skin Strengthening Complex twice and, although I do not have sensitive skin, I developed a lump on my chin which remains seven weeks later along with a red mark. I would not recommend this product!

Comments like the one from Jade are proof of someone who doesn't know or completely understand Paula's work. First, any cosmetic brand we review is welcome to contact us and challenge what we wrote. Nia24 did just that and we made some corrections where necessary and otherwise defended what we wrote and opted to stand by our comments.

Stating that Paula "dumps" on every product line is false. A cursory look at the Best Products section of Beautypedia or her book easily disproves this statement. As she has stated in the past, she is the only cosmetic company owner to routinely recommend products other than her own. I doubt Nia24 would steer their customers toward Olay's products with niacinamide if they felt Nia24 was too expensive (which it is, but that's another topic).

Jade's comments about others not liking Paula's products is also without basis. We have hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers, many of whom sing the praises of these products to anyone who'll listen. Are they a slam-dunk for everyone? Of course not. But business is good and, more important, we have legions of satisfied customers. That wouldn't be the case if the products didn't work or if Paula didn't know what she was talking about.

As for Paula's Choice products not being on awards lists, we have yet to see any such list that's not biased or somehow tied to the almight advertising dollar. There are many brilliant products out there in all price ranges; whether they're on an award list or not is irrelevant unless you're a cosmetic company paying to advertise in fashion magazines. Such lists aren't as helpful as many consumers think, and who hasn't been dissatisified with at least one product they bought with the logic that if it's on beauty award (best of) list then it must be wonderful?

wow i am glad nia24 actually confronted ms.begoun website about their review. I am not even sure why anyone even read this website since she pretty much dump on every product line. If she have this much to say about other people product you would think her line would be the best around and be the cure all, but at last majority of people doesn't really like her line nor are they even used it. This site is so bogus, if you are so in the know about skin care product why don't you make yours superior to everyone else, yet yours is still no where to be found on any award list, so so sad for a women who put down everyone else and only toot her own horn and still no ones hears her

I've been a professional esthetician for the last 20 years working in a medical enviroment and I can honestly say that the clinical substantiation behind NIA24 is some of the best I have ever seen.

Perhaps if she weren't protecting her own interests and slinging her own product line Ms.Begoun would be a bit more complimentary towards NIA24.

NIA is backed by the Skin Cancer Foundation, honored by the American Academy of Dermatology with a Golden Triangle Award, recently was a winner of the Indie Award by the CEW and if that's not enough NIA's research is consistently funded by the NIH and the Pro-Niacin molecule is being studied as a possible skin cancer prevention agent by the NCI.

NIA24 is one of the most effective and safest treatments for severe sun damage on the market today. It's a product I use, my patients use and my medical practice swears by.

I've been using Nia24 strengthening complex for a couple of weeks now and I can say that the product is AWESOME. After a week of using it, my fine lines on my forehead is gone....AMAZING! I can't believe it. I've tried a lot of different products in the past, spent a lot of money and nothing comes close to this one. I love it. I'm so glad I've found something that works for me.
For sunscreen, I'm also using obagi spf 35.

Looks like everyone who commented hasn't tried Nia. Well, I've been using it for a little over a year (after having had a neck lift at age 60) and found it an excellent alternative to a face peel or using Retin A, etc. It does everything it claims and is relatively inexpensive for what you get. What I liked best is that it's only a two step process so you aren't dealing with a bunch of different products and a lot of time to apply them. The thing that matters most is if the product works, and Nia 24 in my case, exceeded my expectations. PS I didn't like their sunscreen either, and use Obaji instead.

I actually got my hands on a sample of their SPF product. It says fragrance free, but it stinks pretty bad. All those essential oils gives it an odor that doesn't go away.

What an article Bryan. Just for kicks, does this company have a web site? If so, what is it? I'd love to see what they have on it, and kinda do a "mental comparison" in relation to your article/response.

I assume these items can only be dispensed through a doctor?

Thanks
