I am loving your radio show! A few weeks ago you said you would talk about why baths are not good for the skin–as bad as sun damage? Can you elaborate on this in an upcoming episode?

As a side note to not always getting to the topic: sometimes this is intentional due to the number of callers we have. We try to devote enough time to callers and choose those whose questions match or are similar to that week’s topic. But we will be better about making sure we’ve covered the topic as much as possible before moving to the calls.

Have enjoyed your books, website and products for some time. Paula, you are the Consumer Reports of the cosmetic world! I have listened to several of your radio shows online…always interesting but also frustrating in that you often forget to devote adequate time to the published topic of the show (see Tom’s Comment from January 13, 2010.) Thought maybe that was just Paula’s “style” but for the April 22 show Bryan was the host, and he never really got to “10 Best Makeup Tips: Create a Fast, Easy, Inexpensive Beauty Routine” that was the topic. He did discuss various makeup issues such as assorted myths…but then started taking calls until the end of the program. (Perhaps the show needs a bit more rehearsal and a director?) Well, maybe you can do some recap shows. I still intend to listen when I can. Keep up the good work!

i love listening to your show, the other fans should know that they can subscribe to the podcast on itunes, its really great especially for me in australia when your show airs at strange times because of time zones.

ooh looking forward to the ipod/smart phone app as well. will it have the ingredient dictionary as well that is a great feature of the book and so useful

Hi Paula this is one of the identical twins that spoke to you on your 1-21-10 show. My Kaiser Cosmetics services apt of 1-26-10 was in one word disappointing. I saw a Nurse not a Dermatologists like we thought. After looking at my skin briefly I would say she went right into as you had warned the “Skin Care” sell Beginning with the OBAGI NU-Derm products as follows the Foaming Gel cleanser, the toner, clear skin lightener she claimed I had some brown spots which I don’t believe I had that many to warrant buying a product, the Exfoderm forte, she seemed to be ok with the sunscreen I was using the Neutrogena 45. I believe you had reviewed the above mentioned Obagi products and I have read those. The last three products she suggested I had not found a review for the Topix is the name of the supplier the REPLENIX Retinol plus Smoothing serum 3x, Topix Replenix Green tea Antioxidant moistursing lotion. Last was the Skinceuticals Serum 15 AOX+. She said I had no wrinkles, I have clogged pores, Spider veins a little which I did not agree with. She did not even address the fact I am fair and have some moles she did not even check those. She also tried to talk me into laser hair removal. The only thing that I did appreciate her telling me was that she thinks I should have a good skin care regime and see how that works before I look into getting the Mila removed by hand which costs $65 for each one that has to be removed. And to see me after 2 months after using their products.
This was the price they wanted me to pay for the skin lightener etc. $341.91 I did not buy anything the apt cost $50 which would have gone to products or services.
The $50 is good for 6 months. So for the $50 is their any of the above mentioned products that you recommend I try using? Or should I just use the 50 for one of their facials and leave it at that? Hi Paula, This is the twins (Athena & Diana)that just talked to you on your radio show 1/21/10!It was great to talk to you in person after so many years of using your products and reading your books.Will let you know how the Kaiser Cosmetic Services apt goes.The products we are using are the 1 step cleanser for dry ski…n,the skin balancing toner,the super antioxidant,the 1% bha lotion,skin balancing moisture gel,we also have been using for 7 yrs spf 45 neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock. just to remind you we had the question about The Milla on the cheek,chin, forhead and about the seeing the kaister cosmetic services dept.Along with the 2% bha liquid what other products from your line would you recomend?Many thanks,The Godesess!
